Why use our knife
The Moby Safety Knife was invented some 25 years ago. At that time industrial safety knives were not readily available. The only alternative to a plastic safety knife was the Stanley knife. Some years ago it was decided by the Health & Safety Executive that Stanley knives were too dangerous to carry around on one's person. In an industrial environment they have to be signed out, then signed back in again after use. This was due to the fact that so many accidents were occurring.
The need for plastic safety knives is even more pertinent in an age where accidents can prove very expensive for employers. This is one of the reasons why our safety knife is used in so many different walks of industry. Such industries include clothing, supermarkets, food processors, stationers, magazine distributors and department stores.
The knife can also be used as a promotional item. Company name and logo can be screen printed onto the face of a knife at a minimal cost.
